Sleighbells ring…

I’m reaching the end of a long but fruitful year in evangelism. Well… I’ve enjoyed it at least!

I’m on leave now until 12th January – a long time, but then it is Evan’s first birthday. As a result, the family are visiting for Christmas this year, so I move directly from evangelism to chef and maitre’d at Chez Marc. I’ll be cooking my first goose this year – bought at an astonishing price – probably more per oz. than gold trades for, so there’s some pressure to get it right.

Of course, Christmas is not all about family, feasting and frivolity. I’ll be thinking about tech stuff too. On my list:

• Windows 7 on to my MSI Wind Netbook (so @dsumner stops gloating about his).
• Read Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell
• Read jQuery in Action
• Read RESTful .NET
• Improve my ASP.NET MVC skills (and do some more stuff with WPF).
